A family that lives its bond with nature, the slowness of time and the beauty of the area a stone's throw from Rome through wine<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Born in 1957 in the Pontine plain, south of Rome, when Dante bought five hectares to grow vineyards in an area with still many virgin lands, recently returned from the reclamation of the Agro Pontino.<\/p>

She passed her passion on to Donato, who in 1993 became an organic pioneer.<\/p>

Today, Federica, Chiara and Laura are the third generation at the helm of the Donato Giangirolami winery.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Pliny the Elder recounts the abundant water sources that converged into a river consecrated to the Nymphs, the deities of the woods and waters, where today the Ninfa Natural Park is located.<\/p>

The climate is particularly mild and constant, thanks to the presence of the nearby Lepini Mountains, which shield from cold northern winds. The warm winds from the south, laden with moisture and the sea’s salt, are, instead, halted by the mountains, releasing moisture in frequent spring and autumn rains.
